Laskar Pelangi is the first novel by Andrea Hirata,
published by the Landscape Library in 2005.
This novel tells about the life of 10 children from poor families in school
(primary and secondary) in a Muhammadiyah school in Belitung filled with
limitations.
They go to school and
learn at the same grade from grade 1 to grade 3 junior, and refer to
themselves as Laskar
Pelangi. In the final parts of the story, members of Laskar Pelangi increased
